The application period for the Headwaters Incubator Program 2017 growing season closed on October 31st, 2016. Thank you to everybody who applied for the 2017 growing season! All applications have been received and are being reviewed. If you are interested in applying for the 2018 growing season, you can find information on how to apply here.
There are three items that need to be included in the application packet. They include:
- Farm Incubator Application
- Farm Business Plan
- Resume (your resume could include past farm experience, and work related to farm and business management, as well as work references)
All applicants should review all of the Incubator Program Information.
It is recommended that all potential applicants review the requirements for the Farm Business Plan. The Farm Business Plan is a critical piece for demonstrating the viability of one’s proposed business, so make sure to give yourself sufficient time to draft a quality plan. The strongest incubator program candidates are those that have fully committed to their prospective farm business and have thoughtfully planned for items noted in the Farm Business Plan.
